Preparing for FTTH

Hi all,

Currently preparing my parents house for FTTH in Q1 2021. I've done up the below high-level design. How would you think this would work? Priority is to provide solid wifi throughout the house

Looks unifi gear ?

If so you can use a unifi router connected to the ont and bin the provider one

Presuming that the unifi router would provide better performance? Any recommendations for the switch that wont break the bank

Well it’s far more configurable and won’t do WiFi so you can just use the aps

I’d just get whatever poe unifi router you can afford

My choice would be a Mikrotik RB4011

You're golden so.

Mikro or Ubi are both great options for your router, Mikro is nice but honestly I might opt for Ubi myself for slightly better ease of use. Fire and forget.
