    There has been a 56% increase in demand for this service since the beginning of the year. I wonder what criteria they use when deciding who to allocate the (free) food to? The queues are now stretching half way up Hyde Road. There must be some complete chancers there as opposed to those with a genuine need.
    Still, I suppose you would need to be pretty desperate in order to stand in line on a busy street in broad daylight simply to suffer the indignity of being handed a food parcel.

    Probably the people that need help the most miss out on it .I have a neighbour Used get 6 bags of coal from St. v. de paul every christmas ,he is drawing disability and working self employed 6 days a week ,has a car and a van on the road .He has the finest house on the road ,it is some joke really!!!
