I haven't seen any information anywhere and need to know.

I currently get €112.70 on JSA but I turn 25 on the 23rd of December. Does my payment automatically increase to the full amount or do I need to contact the social over it?

I would say automatic. But no harm to remind them in Intreo office.Probably, calculate the increase to the first second of your birth for the first payment!

There has been posts on this, it is NOT automatic as bizzare as it sounds. You need to make an appointment at your local intero centre, bring all your information, ID, proof of address, recent bank statement. Essentially they review your claim and once approved your increase will be back dated from when you turned 25.also, note, your parents income is no longer included in your means test once you turn 25. Forget about online processing, it requires face to face review.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
