Diesel purge

Just looking for a little bit of help here, bought a bottle of liqui moly diesel purge to clean the injectors on my subaru legacy diesel. Alot of the videos that show it being used show the fuel send and return lines being disconnected from the fuel filter and inserted into the bottle fuel of cleaner. And the other 2 lines looped together so the engine is running purely off the cleaner.
The problem im having is my fuel filter only seems to have 2 connections ( see pic attached).
Anyone have any idea of this is simply a feed from tank into filter and feed from filter to fuel rail? And if so how do I go about connecting to the bottle of cleaner?

    Any help appreciated

Look at your injectors- there will be a return line off each of them(excess unused fuel)- they will either return to filter or to tank, or Tee into somewhere in between both.

That’s the line you need to return back into your purge.
And then the outlet from the filter to high pressure pump is where your purge bottle should be connected.
Then plug/loop your regular feed so u don’t have diesel leaking all over the place while running the stuff through.

I've had a look again so what i see is, on right had side of engine bay where filter is, I have one line that comes through firewall and into filter, one the comes from filter down to engine bay(injectors) then another one that comes through firewall loops around and goes back through firewall????
Left side of engine fuel line comes up from engine and back through firewall ( would this be the return back to the tank?)

Very hard to tell from your description.
Ultimately there will be a line going to your high pressure pump from filter, and there will be a small return line from the injectors. These are the lines you are after to do what you are trying to do effectively.
By hooking up the return to your bottle you are ensuring the injectors are getting the purge neat- if you return it to tank the injectors will only see a small percentage neat.
You are trying to create a closed loop.

    Marty.

Yep I can see the line going from the filter to the high pressure pump, but cant see a return line come back, only the line on the opposite side of engine that goes back through fire wall. Sorry if I'm not explaining well I might upload a few more pictures tomorrow if that's ok

Trace from the injectors back...there should be a small return line off each injector.
