Hello has anyone applied for a moratorium / payment holiday with their mortgage and been declined? My mortgage has said they can’t facilitate this and I must use The mortgage arrears resolution process (MARP) if I wish to reduce my mortgage payments for the duration of maternity leave. (My leave is unpaid hence why I applied for a moratorium). If I use MARP does this go against future credit ratings and loan applications? Thanks in advance!
