    Hi folks,

We had a new Adman shed installed about 4 weeks ago, we noticed today it has loads of small rust dots all over it (see pics attached). This doesn't seem right - is this normal?

Looks like the sparks from the grinder when cutting .

    No,
looks like hot sparks from an angle grinder burned the plastic, or else careless handling of the sheets

I was thinking angle grinder sparks too.

Definitely looks like metal particles from angle grinder that have just rusted on the face of the sheets, see if you can rumove it, warm soapy water and a sponge, maybe a bit of T Cut to remove any discolouration, staining.

Being honest I'd be on to the manufacturer if the angle grinder was them . They should make efforts to clean back to metal and paint fix the areas.

thanks all - we will reach out to Adman, see what they say

Edit - Adman advised it was pretty much what you guys said, when installing/drilling the panels it was just the residual metal left on top of the sheeting that's rusting. It should have been cleaned off, they're going to send a couple guys out to treat it in NY.

To me it looks worse than that though. OK, some of the small marks might be able to be removed that way, but some of the bigger ones look like they might have melted the plastic sheeting and penetrated through to the underlying metal.
