    Evening all.

I have gigabit FTTH with Eir, and *touch wood* it’s been faultless.
I’ve no devices that come close to making full use of it (the Xbox One is hardwired to the modem and pulls at approx. 380mb).
I’m getting the new SkyQ box in the next day or two, and that has a gigabit Ethernet port. Unfortunately the modem is in a different room.
Is there any way I can utilize the Ethernet port on the box to increase download speeds? AFAIK the Sky boxes only use the 2.4GHz network (keeps the 5GHz for multiroom).
    Thanks.
