Hi I'm looking replacing the windscreen on my 2016 PHEV it looks like the is de-lamination as there are tiny bubbles in the windscreen. Does anybody know what the cost is for replacing the screen as I know it won't be covered by insurance.

It'll depend on the exact model as there are a lot of different sensors located behind the mirror. A quick google suggests anything from a few hundred up to 2k.

There should be a 5 year/100000km warranty on them, worth checking if you're covered.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Out of curiosity did you ask about warranty covering it first?

Bit late now but i remember when i was getting a quote for my insurance one year they asked had i any windscreen claims in last 5 yrs. I clicked yes by accident and premium went up 30+euro. So they get back some of the cost over 5 years.

I didn't as I rang Autoglass just out of curiosity for prices etc and they were the ones to point me through the insurance route, I have windscreen cover on my policy which I was told doesn't affect my NCB. But good point though
