    A turret is not a gun.
    The Scimitar and the fox have the same gun, and the same turret. The 76 used in the scorpion is based on the 76mm used in the 6x6 Saladin. The turret is new. The reason they were able to slot a Fox turret on the roof of a scorpion(making it a scimitar) so easily is because it is the same.
    Do some research beyond wikipaedia.
