    Hi There,
the plumber just put this white sponge pad on the back of the hanging toilet, you notice a bit of deflection when you sit on it (about 4mm), I guess it compresses a bit. Thr 16 stone aul lad, but a solid lean on the thing. the plumber has tightened it up well.

Are you familiar with this pad? Is that normal? Plumber was saying to cut the sponge around the toilet and seal it with tec7, if it was installed without the sponge I guess it would be sealed that way too, just ceramic on cermic.

    There shouldn't be noticeable movement.

Myself I don't use them foam. Just tight fit and seal across top.

Iv only seen it with a minority if bowls

Thanks, yes I was surprised with the movement alright, not a fan of it. I might take them off so.
