Would anyone know off the top of their heads how many hours you can work p/w before losing benefit entitlement completely? I've just been sent a job for 10 hours pw but couldn't exist on that alone.

It depends on what benefit you are on, how many days the 10 hours are spread over, the rate of pay and probably other factors depending on your individual circumsatances.

I work 20 hours over five days ... A friend told me recently that if I worked the 20 hours over 3 days, I could claim for the other 2 days. I prefer my routine as it is though, even if it means less €€€

Very open to correction, but I think your allowance is deducted according to the amount of days you work, meaning if you work all the hours on the one day it's simpler than if you're working a couple of hours each day throughout the week.

This is ten hours so it seems like it'd be grand. I wouldn't really be comfortable on less money atm so I have to be careful enough (while also recognising it's easier to get a FT job when you're already in one!)
