lets say you have 4 mcbs for lights, 1 of these is doubled up for smokes, 1 mcb for an immersion and 1 for a cooker all are rcd protected. if you want to change cooker could you use the existing mcb or would the rec have to install an afdd and if adding another lighting circuit can use use a new mcb or would you have to add a rcbo?

100-150 euros for an afdd plus what an electrian would charge to fit and test is a bit saucy, ill stick with a fiver mcb
