Avoid purchasing Eir billpay online

Purchased a new bill phone from the eir website three weeks ago. An iPhone 12. Regular size, was the only thing in stock. Paid the 150, signed up for their 5g package, all dandy....the following day they rang me to confirm the order and request a 200 euro deposit as I was a new customer.

Grand I paid, down 350 now. Was informed 200 would be paid back in 6 months.

Agent told me thank you, you'll have your phone in 3 days. 3 weeks later, still no phone. 1 in about 12 emails responded to simply saying the phone is out of stock.

Phone was "in stock" when I placed the order, in fact the phone was my second choice device, another device was unavailable/out of stock warning.

Im convinced now, "the only one left" was a BS ploy to make me grab the phone which I did. Stupid me

Cant get an email response for an ETA, they wont reply to my mails. Same ding dong on twitter, zero commitment for an arrival date.

Raging as I would of purchased else where had they been honest and said phone was out of stock, but they took 150 and another 200 the next day. Very quick to get back to me when they wanted ID's, verifications & money, now eir are no where to be found,
