I have a new laptop - HP Pavilion Power 15-dk0010na

tried to install a bt mouse, but no option to turn on bluetooth in the settings

under device manager, bluetooth was hidden, updated the driver there by right clicking, but that didn't work

did a load of trouble shooting, restarting, went into bios etc but still no bluetooth

then did another update, lots of updates including a full bios update and what looked like a driver update.

restarted, and the bluetooth was showing as on in settings.

there were another couple of updates, did those and restarted.

    no more bluetooth.

went back to device manager, bluetooth showing as a hidden device again.

followed instructions from MS to uninstall the adapters in Device Manager and restart so they'd be "found" again.

that didn't happen, bluetooth not showing now in device manager at all.

did a scan for hardware changes / add legacy hardware, but nothing changes.

anyone have any ideas on what to do next?

edit : went back in to services.msc and set BluetoothUserService to start by right clicking on it, then went back to device manager and did a scan for hardware changes and got the bluetooth going again.

edit, but only temporarily. It's gone again

device manager shows Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) and Intel Wireless Bluetooth(R) - in the properties for both, the device status shows the following message :
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer (Code 45) To fix this problem reconnect this hardware device to the computer
