    I can't believe he was still alive. Always assumed he died relatively young as a result of his line of work!

    That man deserved to get to the big trible digits. He served in 3 wars, WW II , The Cold War and Vietnam. He could have been an astronaut except for he did not have a collage degree. He advanced the technology of its era and science too. How wrong was that. I would bet he would have flown any space rocket better than anyone. The man had zero fear. He is a legend.
