Hi all, looking for your opinions on which herd management app for a suckler farmer.
Seem to be lots of app options now.
    Any pros/cons in your experiences?

I use the Agrinet herd app one. Using its 2 yrs now. Very handy tbh for tracking medicine use, register calves & general notes on each animal. I use progressive for AI which is linked to the app so all dates & bulls are automatically added.

Using Agrinet here too , think it seems very dairy focused so works well here, shows on the list of jobs what cows are to be dried off this week and what ones are going to calve any week or any cows due to be bulling/repeat. All ai inseminations and milk recording linked to all the cows then too so you can see everything you need to see. And then handy for the essentials like registering calves and medicines, like anything though its only as good as the information you put into it really

Agrinet and Herdwatch seem to be the main ones.
Any opinions on Herdwatch? It would be almost triple thee annual cost of Agrinet in my case. Have I answered my own question here?

in herd app you can turn off the dairy side of it in the settings

Started using the munster bovine farm ops app a few months back. It's new and was available then as a free trial (think it still is). Haven't ever used any of the alternates so can't compare, but I've been impressed with this one. No idea of cost yet though

Started using heardwatch here a few months back. I find it brilliant. Probably took me a while to get into using it fully but now that I have I think any Bord Bia inspections etc should be a lot easier. Also it’s kinda to be able check dosing history there and then when talking to vet.
There seems to be a very helpful customer service team there too.

I have been using Herdwatch for over 5 years.

I use it mainly for registering calves, movements and tracking doses.

Really cuts down on the paperwork as you have all the details in your pocket on your phone.

I like it and will be continuing using it.

Just tried it there. It's 180 a year after the 3 months. As well as your icbf sub

I’m looking for a package here, getting tired of paper. Agnet seems to cost about ~€80 euro with Herdwatch coming in at ~€200. Given we have sucklers and a few sheep, what app is best?
