Help! Bulging metal in back of boiler stove.

    Just noticed this evening when loading stove a bulge in a metal plate at back of stove, which looks likely to get worse and crack open.

    Have no idea what it is, and more importantly is it full of boiling water/steam?!

    Photos below. It is a Hamco Glenmore (20B I think, maybe 30B) - pretty big unit.

    I realise I will have to get a pro in to look at it, but in short term can anybody help me out with whether or not it is imminently dangerous?
