    Hi,

I have replaced my altrad diesel mixer with a launtop engine.
The problem I have now is it’s spinning too fast as it’s not a 1:2 reduced speed engine.

Is there a gearbox or some way of reducing the speed in 1/2.?
I have a huge cog on drum and small one on the engine

not sure if you can, but doubling the size of the small gear on the engine would do it: is it a chain & sprocket ?

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Yes it’s chain and sprocket. I would need a smaller gear on engine wouldnt I?

Yes, to slow down the drum you need to make the Driver sprocket as small as possible and the Driven sprocket as big as possible.

Is there any way of slowing the engine down ?

Even at its slowest it’s a little fast but obviously it doesn’t like running at such low rpm
