    Ivan Yates will be back on our screens before Christmas with a one-off special of his new show which will enjoy a weekly Friday night slot come January.
    The Green Room with Ivan Yates is an entertainment show which promises to highlight the ‘news, issues and fun’ in the world of sports.
    Ivan will be joined on the show by Paddy Power, impressionist and TV broadcaster Conor Moore and a mystery special guest.
    They’ll aim to entertain with comedy and competitions and in turn, hope to disrupt RTÉ One’s Friday night ratings dominance.
    Ivan’s new offering will air for half an hour from 9pm so it will not directly compete with the Late Late Show, RTɒs juggernaut chat show which begins at 9.35pm.
    To get a flavour of what The Green Room with Ivan Yates will be like, intrigued viewers can tune into Virgin Media One on Wednesday, 23 December at 10pm to watch his one-off seasonal special.
    The weekly series will hit our screens in late January.
