Last weekend I booked a flight with Aer Lingus for the family at Easter. The basic price was €680. Six days later it was €2009 ! What are they doing in the pricing department of Aer Lingus ?

Supply and demand. Easter is a busy travel period.
I was surprised by the low price, because I have never seen Aer Lingus offering this price during school holidays. Did they forget about Easter ?
I booked on 28 November. On 29 November, the price had gone up to €730ish and by 4 December €2009. That's 2 adults and 2 children, to Lanzarote not including checked-in bags.
