    Few bets lined up for myself today.

    2.25 Sandown, Star Gate. Horse is around 10/11 - even money. I've backed the horse to win and easily my best bet of the day.

    2.40 Exeter, Sevarano. Horse is around 7/4. I've backed it to win.

    2.50 Sedgefield, Call Of The Loon. Horse is around 4/1 - 9/2 but I have it priced much higher. I don't think it will be in the first 3 places. Laying 3 places @ around 2.15 - 2.18'ish.

    On stargate, I make him about a 6/4 shot so couldnt have him at current prices.
    Bet of the weekend for me is master tommy tucker in the caspian gold cup sat. Ideally back him with fallers insurance, he is sketchy jumping but when he gets around he tends to have the engine of a proper graded horse.

    I can't fathom how Dark Magic is a 12/1 shot 5.30 Dundalk tomorrow. It had its second run for its new stable last time out in a 0-85 handicap when going down a neck off this mark to an in form horse in a really competitive race. This is easier and the booking of Colm Keane would suggest a big run is expected. I had this down as probably favourite and would be keen to take on a few shorter than it in the betting. Crest of a Wave took an age to win a race and had to do it off a basement mark over further, Irish ambassador is a hound. I'd respect kinch and McConnell's one but one id make more like 9/2 and worth a good bet.
