Fibre and new build

    Hello.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with moving into a new build in a mature estate and broadband availability. Right now there are no fixed line services available at my address. Checking the various line checker sites, I can see that 17 houses have no service availability.
When I look at some of the older houses I can see that they have siro and fttc.
I would be happy with either, but would prefer siro.
Has anyone any idea on timelines to get connected? I assume it is self assessed by these companies? Or is it worth while contacting siro or openeir to make them aware of the lack of services available? Thanks
