Virgin Media New Build

    Hi All,

I’ve moved into a new build with Virgin media outlets in the walls like you would see in apartments with Virgin services. The problem is that I am waiting on an engineer to come out to “activate”.
I have raised an incident with Virgin But it’s been 5 weeks now with no action. Can anyone validate my assumption that all I really need it someone to flick a switch and then all I need is a modem?

    Thanks

The engineer probably needs to connect the cable for your apartment in the apartment block's basement cabinet into their network equipment and then your line will be active. You'll then need to connect their modem/router to the connection point in your apartmentt
