Broadband and landline stopped working

Hope this is the right forum to post this in. I have my internet through Sky with TV landline and Broadband. Yesterday my internet and landline just stopped working. The tv is connected to the router but no internet signal and the internet light is off. I called Sky and the tested the line and said it’s “crystal clear” and should be working so the are sending out a new router with the hope being that the issue is with old router. My problem is the landline is gone too (no dial tone and if I ring it, the call will go and ring out to mailbox but the hand set doesn’t ring). This is what has me thinking the router isn’t the problem. The phone isn’t connected to the router how i see it. The wires meet “in the wall” at the micro filter but that’s it. Just worried I wait for the new router and then that doesn’t work either and I’d still need an engineer anyway.

I hope that makes sense. Does anyone with more technical knowledge know if the router breaking would then affect the phone too?

Plug out your modem by the dsl cable going into the phone socket and see if dial tone comes back, then try it with just the modem plugged in and the phone plugged out.
Is your modem plugged into your main incoming phone socket
