    Hey folks,

Tried this is in accommodation forum but didn't get much response, so hoping the local forum might yield better results.

I'd really appreciate if anyone could recommend someone, preferably through personal experience, to complete a snag list for a new build.

    Thanks,

    Coff66

Have come across his name through Google searches. The reviews appear positive but there are not massive amounts so hard to know.

Will make contact and get a quote for sure.

    Thanks.

+1 for Steve, a close friend recently used him and the report was excellent.

Ian Sheehy. Technical Solutions. Used him in 2019 on my house and he found stuff there was no way I was ever going to spot, some even now obvious stuff that I should have seen. I was referred to him by a work colleague and he provided a 14 page report with pictures in triplicate all bound as well. There are differerent levels of surveys as well. As I was buying a used house, which was an upgraded property from a 1950s cottage I chose a Class II Survey which also quite extensive. Maybe new builds aren't as extensive, I can't remember. It's been 14 years since I bought a new house.

I could post his mobile number but I won't. You will see it is you just google Ian Sheehy Technical Solutions

We didn't in the end, we went with Dom O' Riordan on the recommendation of our solicitor. A gent and did a very thorough list and provided photos of all issues also.
