Hissing Climote

    Hi,

My parents got this installed about 9 months ago to control central heating. It's making a continuous hissing noise, very low-pitch. My dad can't hear it, even with his ear up against the panel. I can hear it from 2 metres away. It's working fine, but the noise is driving me insane.

Does anyone have any experience with these or thoughts on how to correct? A close friend has the same panel in his house - no noise at all.

Regardless of the fault these devices are best avoided as they incurr a monthy charge. I would replce with Hive, Nest or simlar alternative taht are free to use.
