Anyone remember/identify this sci-fi show?

    Hi all, I am trying to find the name of a tv show. So it was essentially a sci-fi show. It was about an army and they were just going around shooting these gigantic spiders like creatures with their laser guns. From what I can remember it was on TV3 every Saturday back in the late 90's/early 2000s. Anyone with any idea? I'm just lost now!

    It was kind of like Starship Troopers, except it was an amination but not a cartoon. It was also a series.

    The original movie is nothing like the book, though Starship Troopers 3 is closer and the CGI movies that came out in 2012-2018 are closer as well.

    We will just pretend Starship Troopers 2 never happened.

    Roughnecks was an awesome show. It's a pity it had such a troubled production and I believe was quite time-consuming and costly, especially for a tv show back then.
