    Beam wasnt anything like that price six months ago when I bought it, pinch of salt for those "savings" - a bit of a saving but maybe about half of what is claimed.

    Either way 350 is the cheapest it's been, at least on Amazon.

    My tv doesn't have an arc hdmi so will be using an optical connection, will I be able to control the volume using my remote control of the virgin media horizon box?

    V tempted to get a Sonos one and an SL.... Is this as good as they'll get? Any point holding out for Cyber Monday?

    These deals run until Monday. Unlikely they'll drop further in the medium term.

    Trying to convince myself that I don't need another speaker...

    Hah. A friend has sonos one and SL set up as a stereo pair, and I was staggered how well it compared to a decent hifi.

    But it's only for the kitchen, do I really need sparkly fidelity when making my porridge...
