Was just thinking this!! The NECK of that lad criticizing Larry's choice for first Christmas song!

They will probably re-run a clip of larry playing it from another year. They have a fetish for old corpses around those parts of Donnybrook

Last Christmas, just a few weeks before Larry passed on, McDermott interrupted and sniggered his distaste during Larry's pre-recorded introduction to "Fairytale of New York" on the 2FM breakfast show.

Totally uncalled for ....what an absolute p**ck !!

I presume you are referring to All I Want for Christmas. She does have more than one Christmas song you know, but that's the most played of them.

You assume right. While I know she has a fair few Christmas songs, I’d be shocked if anyone was in any doubt as to which song I was referring to.

Indeed! It's not my favourite Christmas song by her, but no doubt listeners would be shocked and disappointed if another one had been played!

Ask 100 people “Mariah” and “Christmas Song”. How many would answer All I want for Christmas?

No need to be so pedantic!!! 🙄

I imagine this year was a tribute for Larry and next year it will pass to someone else.

As long as that someone else isn't Eoghan McDermott I don't mind who gets it.

Eoghan is itching at his bits to play Frosty the Non-Binary Person

I'm launching a campaign to have "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause" banned.
Seen through the eyes of a child, he witnesses his mother kissing some random fat b*****d in a red suit under the Christmas tree. Clearly this is a woman of questionable moral character engaging in extra marital hanky panky. The young people of Ireland need to be protected from this type of filth.

Can you say frosty? Does that not descriminate against those who feel that they need to hide during the other 3 seasons?

    seasons?

I'm sorry did you just define a set period of time?

Right I'm going to stop now, gone completely off-topic.

I think it was a lovely tribute to Larry and hopefully they'll give it to someone else next year to carry on the tradition.
