    Hi all,

I live in Spain - about to rent another car for the next two years.

Two vehicles I've narrowed it down to (there's only a small list to choose from) are the VW T-ROC and Peugeot 3008.

    VW-TROC:
    1.5 TSI DSG Automatic

    Peugeot 3008
    Blue HDi S&S Style
    Manual, Diesel

Both are roughly the same price.
I'm just finishing renting a VW Polo 1L.
I've been told to go for T-ROC (faster and automatic).

    Any suggestions?

The T-Roc is a lot smaller than the 3008 but yeah DSG and 1.5 would be a great combination. Obviously the 3008 will be more economical.

I like the look of the 3008 more (sleeker). Thanks for the reply.

Less than 20000 km per year go petrol greater mileage than 20000 km per year diesel as long as your not doing lots of short journeys ..

My journeys are very short everyday. Motorway driving is only every few weeks.

I’ve driven 23,000KM in the Polo over the last 21 months.

Just looking at the spec of both again:

    Peugeot 3008
It’s the Sound & Style package?

Not really your problem of the DPF gives trouble on a rental I would say.
