    Hello,

What would you think about Irish teenagers if you compare them with Germans or Britishteenagers?

    What are the main differences?

Being Irish would probably be the main difference being honest.

    What a strange thread

It’s a little known fact, but Irish teenagers are twice as old as German ones, and about a year younger than British ones.

The British and German teenagers don't think that the world owes them a living because they have to do a Leaving cert

When I was a teenager you had a much better chance of having sex on the first or second date from British girls. Teenagers here were boring and obsessed with Camogie. Fecking farmer girls

Edit Nuns they were wannabe nuns.

British teens have way more freedom.

German teens way less. But German schools are more informal towards teens. German teens are way way more into designer ****.

German teens can legally have alcohol as well as have and do other things.

Their parties always involve this....only its more open ...that doesn't mean it doesn't happen to excess it does.

German parents tend to fuss more. No house parties ...parties are like in the park etc.

School and education is seen just as a way to get educated ...more like in ireland than american ..america school is seen as somewhere socialize your kids ..its like american schools are expected to do everything for kids .feed them ..teach them life skills etc ..whereas germans expect less from schools ..they go to learn that is it ..same as here.

Less of a sense of humor and more serious.

When I was in Iceland, the teenager's idea of anti social behaviour was asking you loads of questions, feigning interest as you answered and then running away in hysterics when they couldn't contain themselves any longer.

Beats a smack in the head and having your bike stolen I suppose.

In some ways i find teens on the continent way more innocent than here.
