    Those style filters with the housing and paper filter inside are usually on the top of the engine in my experience, check around the lower part of the engine in the space between the engine and radiator for the socket head on the housing

    My nephew brought his megane around for a service. Four filters and a can of oil, by the time I had oil and oil filter and air filter done it was getting dark but I couldn't see the fuel filter anywhere. Had a good look with a torch but no joy.

    Yeah it’s behind the front drivers wheel arch liner (if it’s the same as a 131 reg which I think it is)

    No I gave a quick look in the usual places, not there. Must be at the back near the tank, I'll have to wait a couple of days for him to come back.
