    New or 2nd hand?
One our second amazone here, very happy with it and consistent, accurate spread

How much fertilizer do you spread.

Have a rauch here, 12 or more years old, needs changing now but has spread a lot in that time as does the neighbour as well as ourselves. If going new price around between the amazone/ rauch/ bogballe etc and see how you get on. In fairness people are happy with most brands.
Secondhand is a different story. Youd want to be finding out if the one your buying is being sold due to wanting a bigger capacity otherwise the main reason they are sold is due to be being worn out in whatever way

I have an Amazon very hard to put it on my tractor . Too close to the wheels. I use my small 9 bag raunch in stead. It's a thing to think about. If u get covered in ****e just to spread a couple of paddocks. If I was spending big money I would try putting it on your own tractor first.

Can you get longer lift arms for your tractor?
Our spreader is very close to the wheels on one tractor here and perfect on the other

I think its a Massey you have? I have Massey and a ZAM Amazone, I reverse in and hook up the lower links, raise the lift a little, jump out of cab and hop in over the arms, put on pto, top link and hoses then. By lifting the arms a little makes enough space to hop in easily.

Spinner is tight here on our 7840 but no bother on neighbours tm120, length of lift arms is the issue. Normally it would stay on one tractor for some bit of the summer anyway. Just about light enough to shimmy with the shoulder if need be. Anybody use A frames for various attachments?

I have the Dromone quick hitches cost 2.6k, 3 years ago. I got the tractor attachment and 6-7 of the attachments I think. Great job for fertilizer spreader, chain harrow, sprayer and the disc mower. I bought a second tractor attachment for my other tractor. I have only one hydraulic top link on them I use the Case top link on the other one it's easy enough to adjust
