Tree planted too near oil tank?

We have an evergreen tree (about 4yrs old is now 6ft tall) planted very close to the oil tank. It would be sitting on top of where the pipe runs along under the soil into the tank. Should we move this tree before it grows bigger? I am worried the roots may disturb the pipe.
