Significant improvements come into effect this Sunday with six buses a day in each direction from Achill to Westport and onto Louisburgh.
The main benefits of the enhanced Route 450 timetable include:

Enhanced weekday timetable with up to 7 daily services to both Louisburgh & Achill Island
Enhanced weekend timetables with up to 6 daily services to both Louisburgh & Achill Island
Earlier morning arrival before 9am into Westport from Achill Island
Onward connections in Westport to Castlebar, Ballina, Sligo, Athlone & Dublin
Later evening services linking all the main towns along the route
From Q1 2021 this route will be operated by low floor accessible buses
    quoted from Bus Éireann site

The summer only route from Clifden to Westport will operate thrice daily each way year round and as well as serving Mill Street will serve Westport Railway Station.

On the downside the Thursday route to Killeen/ Killadoon which has been in operation many decades runs for the last time tomorrow (Thursday 19th) as does the Achill service via Dooega. The Corraun sees its last Bus Éireann service on Friday.

Thats a shame to see those routes stop. From growing up in that direction there are still people who use those routes to go into Louisburg or into Westport. But I am sure they did feasibility studies on them.
