Mobile SIM with unlimited call time, cheapest option?

    I just need unlimited calls.

My primary phone has unlimited data and then limited credit thus my call time gets cut short.

There used to be an option with EIR for 10 euro, unlimited talk time for 30 days.

Doesn't seem to be available any longer?

Any insights, what are my choices?

48 €7.99 a month for life if you sign up before January 5th

Use a referral link to sign up and get €7.99 credit (which you can use on buying a months membership)when you buy your first month.

Cheapest option is Virgin at €5 for 6 months on a 30 day contract.
After 6 months, decide where to go as it may not be cheapest then.
    Unlimited calls, texts and data.

Eir charge e20 for that now.Go with 48 if you are not worried about poor customer service.

I meant to highlight - prepaid.

Are any of those plans prepaid?

Also, signing up, are those SIM's ordered online or get them in a shop etc?

If you are 7.99 deal on 48.ie you prepay every month for the package you sign up for

They are all monthly, you do not sign a contract or anything like that.

Maybe go and do just a little research yourself, and don't be expecting others to hold your hand every step of the way.

According to this, lyca 10 euro per month is the best pre pay plan for unlimited calls?

    Sound about right?

No. According to that, the best deal is 48, which is the one I and many others have recommended.

Don't get confused by what they mean by billpay in that link. There is very little difference between PAYG and monthly sims. You are probably used to thinking that billpay means you are tied to a contract for a year or two, which isn't the case with any of the deals posted in this thread.

I'm on this. It goes to 25 euros per month after the 6 months.

Best option is 48 at 7.99 per month for life

For the 1st 6 months it is the cheapest but as you say, it does go up after the initial 6 months.
Anything could happen in 6 months time so for peace of mind, the 48 offer would probably be the cheapest over time.

Can you not just use the first six months, then opt out and get another SIM, restart the 6 month offer?

You have to give bank account details, address, etc
Virgin would see it is the same person

    So it's not really PAYG?

Does that apply to the 48 offer also?

Basically I'm looking for 10 euro top up with unlimited calls.
And I need it fairly quickly - I can't wait 3 to 5 days waiting for a SIM card in the mail.

Is that 48 deal available in carphone warehouse etc?

Has anyone had experience with Virgin actually taking action on this tho?

There would be different offer as they don't normally run the same offer twice in succession, might be €15 a month for 12 months or something else.
You could cancel anytime, 30 days notice and you could move after the 6 months but another sim won't work for you unless you don't want to keep the same number.
If you don't need the same number, it would work depending on what the
offer is at that time from Virgin.
