Hi I disconnected the broadband but the router is still in place

The sonoff plugs are showing up as offline but I thought they should switch to local mode.

The app is ver4.7 , not sure on the plugs but they got at least 1 update, any ideas thanks

Are you trying to connect the plugs through your phone? If there's no internet through the local wifi the phone might be connecting to the cloud server which won't be able to see the sonoff plugs, try to make sure that the plugs and whatever you are trying to connect to them via are all on the same local WiFi with no other connection.

going to need more detail on the setup before we can help - are the sonoffs and phone on the same wifi network?

I think sonoff operate off 2.4 only so maybe make sure that the phone isn't connecting to the 5 network or the wifi is doing smart switching or something like that.

Oh yeah, I'm not sure of the sonoff wifi range so maybe check bringing them a bit closer to the router

Brought them closer and it's 2.4

Can't be much if I got 2 of them connected

    As in,
Plug it in and hold pier button for 5 ( or 7) seconds - until it starts flashing.
    Release.
Hold the button in again for about the same time. Lights change again. Unit is now after setting up its own hotspot?
