irish postal order

Is a £1 irish postal order from the 1950s worth anything to collectors or is there any interest in postal orders,it has the stub attatched as it was never cashed.

eBay - when used cautiously - is your friend in such matters. As you will note from this page: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=IRISH+POSTAL+ORDER&_sacat=0 there are a few POs for sale but all but one are BIN prices i.e what the seller thinks they can get and frequently bear no relation to actual value. The 'one' postal order actually for auction is selling for virtually nothing. In fact the dealer selling that one has his contact details at the bottom of the page and is a sound individual who would be worth contacting.
