Completely unfairly threadbanned, the mod investigating is the mod who banned me

Surely this can't be right? I was completely unfairly threadbanned and I've been trying to dispute it and it turns out the place where I have to dispute it (helpdesk) the mod who banned me carries out all the investigations.
