Hey guys, my mams 06 zafira is on its last legs.

Looking for something to replace it, still require 7 seats as will be used to transport children a lot. Doesn't necessarily need the large boot space of the zafira. Hopefully only need 5-7 years out of it. Budget circa 8k but could be convinced to stretch that a little bit further, maybe to 10k. Petrol as mainly short spins, Dublin city driving.

Toyota versa has been recommended but hard to find one in petrol in the price range. Seem to be mainly as old as the zafira being replaced or way above the budget.

    Any other suggestions or comments?

    Thanks

I would definitely be saying Toyota Verso as well. They are not all that common in petrol although I see one here https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/toyota-verso-7-seater/26243665

Would she consider a diesel at all?

Saw that one, across the country is the problem though.

Diesel is just a no go giving the driving types we feel.

Had looked at them briefly before, considering one. I'll pm it to you for an opinion if that's ok?

VW Touran is worth a look at too, they are available in 1.4 litre petrol.

Maybe not new enough as they stopped making them in 2010, but Honda Frv is a great bus and handles 6 easily if you don't really need 7.

The verso are Qashqai +2 are terrible 7 seaters.

At least with sometbing that size you’re getting a proper 7 seat

    Edit

Ford S-Max. I've been driving one for 7 years and love it.

I know they're not proper 7 seaters, however she only needs the back seat (rarely even both) for two short spins a few days a week. Other than that it's usually just the front 5 seats used so the smaller version suits in this instance.
