    I like what he represents, and what he stands for (a modern thinking President of a modern Ireland).

    He's a pompous little fúcker though. If he was chocolate he'd eat himself. His nauseating praise for Castro on his death was a bit grim as well - Castro being a man who had no problem jailing/executing political dissidents, other socialists, homosexuals, and journalists. Higgins is the very definition of a champagne socialists - eulogising mass murderers while having breakfast served to him.
