Hi. Does anyone know of good B&M shops or online shops to deliver to ROI? Thanks.

I've bought my son's PC from them. They are a UK shop that delivers to Ireland. Slightly more expensive than others.
Do not think that the .ie domain makes them an Irish company. Read the fine print on the site, they are UK based. What that means? For one, if you have any problems with a PC bought from them, you have to ship it to England. Another: no clue what happens after Brexit is truly done.

I assume the same can be said of any UK based company. You can look at overclockers.co.uk, awd-it.co.uk, scan.co.uk, aria.co.uk.

Note: when my son's GPU stopped working, I was able to debug the issue myself, talked to them through email, and sent them the broken GPU, and they replaced it under warranty. Not a lot of hassle, no more than you'd expect for any other store, just took a bit longer due to shipping parts to UK and back.

Plenty decent sellers on adverts.ie who would build something for you - and not charge you the earth.

Half of the fun is to build your own though :-)

    Hi

I had one built in 2011 and it is still going strong and ready for passing on - I have ordered a new machine a week ago and expect in 2 weeks time..

They are VERY well built and very well supported to the exact specification that you want.. The forum is excellent to have your design discussed and analysed ..

    Worked a treat for me/.

PC Specialist are legit but not good value.

AWD-IT or CCL Online are by far the best value for pre-builts.

Don't even bother with CustomPC, absolute joke of a company.

I priced the PcSpecialist build I have ordered with is a touch over 4 K and although I could not get an EXACT match, the cost difference was marginal.

It terms of configuration - so much easier on the PCSpecialist... at the end of the day.. your experience will vary depending on the product being purchased.

Hi Eddie. I went with pcspecialist.ie in the end. I've been using one of their Desktop computers every day since late-2021. Aside from a minor gripe, I'm overall happy with it.
