    Dunno exactly what you mean by this but I’d be working on a full gas/heat bill basis ie 8 hours a day not a percentage of an old bill which might reflect summertime use or only minimal use to
    take the edge off the cold while you are out of the
    house.

    I got badly stung one by being asked for a calculation based on units (which I provided) - this dosn’t take in account that half the bill is taxes/surcharges based on unit use, green taxes and vat - amongst other taxes.

    Also lightbulbs run at e10 each - I’d be edging to get one of these on the bill too for my light use.

    Its pretty straightforward; (total allowable bills x # of remote days)/365, and for Electricity & Heating it's 10% of that total and for broadband it's 30%. Add those together and multiply by your tax rate to get your tax credit value.

    Think I seen on Eoin McGees instagram account he was saying the utility bills have to be in your name to make the claim? Can anyone clarify?
