Any idea which body would look after an un-reconciled dispute with Easytrip.

It is concerned with their admin. charges, rather than a toll charge.

    Thanks

There is no regulatory body, CCPC may take a look but don't expect anything

I moved to eFlow and did a chargeback for the amount of easytrips overcharge which was not challenged.

Thanks. I've sent them off details.

It's not life of death, but extremely annoying.

The admin. charge for my tag has always been €1 + VAT @ 23%= €1.23.

I have noticed that for September and October, the charge is still €1.23, and on investigation have noticed that they have increased the Net amount to €1.02, and applied the new VAT rate of 21%, keeping the overall charge at €1.23.

It's effectively a price increase, which was not notified. They have refused to do anything, nor have acknowledged that the price has increased.

It's taking the proverbial, as the VAT reduction was to help consumers.

    you are arguing over 12c? (6 months x 2c) - SERIOUSLY?

Its not a price increase - you are paying the exact same amount.

This reply has wasted more than 12c of my time

It is absolutely a price increase. The amount is neither here nor there.

While I can understand the anger at a company for doing this..... the effort involved to do anything about it considering the money involved.....

I still wouldn't waste time arguing. Simply switch to another provider.

It is not a price increase, as the price is clearly posted as €1.23
    €1.23 monthly fee

The breakdown of that figure is immaterial to you.

Many firms have taken the vat reduction back in to the net price.

For background info, the monthly price was 1.21 when VAT was 21% the last time and then increased to 1.23 due to the VAT change. Have the actual email informing me of that dated 22nd December 2011.
