Hi There, I have tried many of the usual suspects on this but not having much luck. If someone was privately posting a short term apartment in Dublin where would they list it? (Looking for a one bedroom apartment for 3 to 6 weeks rented from the owner or occupant (vs an agency) and not wanting to use Airbnb which seems overpriced vs market rates).

Thanks for all and any wisdom.

What part of the country are you looking in?

You have put up ‘short term sublet‘ in the title.
Are you looking for a rental for the full apartment or a room?
Dublin is a big place.A suggestion is to join a Facebook group in the area you are interested in and put up a post there stating your requirements from where when how long and who will be staying with you. You may find you get a good response. On Facebook you can search by short term rental on their market place so that is another option.
Daft have short term tab. You can try Airbnb. Some hotels have apartments as well so you could contact a few that way.

You are not very precise in your description of what you are seeking. Short term could be a week up to several months. You could be looking for an entire house or a room share in a rented house. You don't say what you intend to spend. The range of advertised places could be booking.com Airbnb, DAft holdiay, daft rental or there are specialists like staycity who rent out holiday apartments.
