Hi. Last week, I had 4 new tyres fitted and got the tracking done.
    The tracking report here: https://ibb.co/hgn5jtx
I don’t really understand it, does it look ok?

FYI: The ‘rear axle side-slip/alignment test' was -17 on last NCT test back in November 2018.

I had a "shim kit" fitted about a week before doing the tracking. (To fix the above rear axle side slip issue)

    4 wheel total alignment ?

Doesn't look like a full job to me. They mearly adjusted the driver side front when and the rest just barely came into limits.

On the back the camber is still off etc, hence it's in red.

I dunno if the shims effected that though so have to be careful about hanging the place that did the alignment

    thanks

im colour blind so not the best with colours.
not sure if what your saying is a really bad situation or not.

would this car pass an NCT based on this report?

It should but don't go blaming anyone if it doesn't because tracking and alignment can get knocked out of you hit pot holes, go down bad roads etc. It's not uncommon for the alignment to change.

I think that's why it was designed to be adjustable

If it had a shim kit then it more than likely has a solid rear axle which wouldn't have any other adjustments.

The front is now within tolerance.

Did whoever fitted the shim kit not do alignment?

I got the shim kit job done by my local mechanic. He does not have a tracking machine (or whatever it’s called)
He has his own old school way of measuring the alignment (he mentioned some dunlop device) and he said it was out by 50 'minutes' before he started the shim kit work (not sure what this means)
He fitted the shim kit and tested again on the old school device and it was bang on Zero.
based on this, he said no need for tracking, unless I really wanted to at the time.

I waited until I fitted the tyres a couple weeks after this shim kit work and got the results as in the tracking report: https://ibb.co/hgn5jtx

    Fair enough.

Dunlop guages were very common before laser alignment became popular. Although its 11 years since I used them. Toe was measured in degrees and minutes on these guages.
