Benefit in Kind Electric Car

    Hi there --
I believe that there is no benefit in kind on an electric car that costs under 50,000.
Is this also true if the car is second hand?

Also does anyone know if after buying a new car a company can claim the SEAI grants retrospectively (I understand that they are not available prospectively).

Thanks so much for any and all information.

The zero BIK is based on the OMSP, so if the car was under 50k new and you buy second hand, then you get the 0 bik

You cannot claim the SEAI grants retrospectively
