Where on Ashbourne Ave? I'm living on Ashbourne Ave and love it here. Great for access to the city centre, the crescent and the train station (all within 15 minute walk). Great access to the motorway, and lots of amenities in the area.

The older houses are like bomb shelters all very well built. The apartments in Fitzhaven Square are nice, lived there for a time, can't talk for Allendale Castlewellan or the houses in Fitzhaven.

Seconded, Ashbourne avenue is a great location, walking distance to everywhere. Don't know anything about annacotty in fairness.

Ah yeah, that's in the back of Allendale. Nice spot I went to see a place there to rent probably around 12 years ago and liked it but they were asking too much at the time. The place seemed solidly built.

I'd forgotten it was even down there till you said the name.

Live in Alandale atm and love it quiet area easy access to town the crescent and the dual carriageway. Also unlike lots of developments gas heating which is a godsend versus old storage heaters
