The Roberts Revival iStream 3 DAB/Internet radio is on offer for €219 in Harvey Norman (more or less the same price as Amazon Prime) €229 in Currys
Roberts are doing what I think is a very good offer on the Revival iStream 3 for £199.99 including an Ortus 3 clock radio worth £89.99 with free shipping, ordered mine through Parcle Motel as it can only be bought in the UK

The Stream 94i is also at a good price £160
Got one a few months ago for the kitchen, it's fantastic with loads of options - DAB, FM, Bluetooth, Internet Radio and Spotify Connect. Good sound too.

Very tempted to get the 94i also, had a good look at it today, have you updated the firmware in yours? the Ortus3 swung it for me as wanted something small & portable, been looking at a few others was considering a few including the Legema M3+ Auna Connect, Pure Evoke F3, Auna Connect 150WH. Any of those probably would have very good, they all have advantages, the major ones in the 94i was 120 presets and a nice interface, fine any interesting Internet radio stations on yours?

Yeah I was having a look around at different ones but concluded that Roberts are a good brand with quality sound. Couldn't be sure of sound quality in the others.

Haven't checked the firmware since summer - all's been grand.
I find spotify connect great - you can fling a playlist over from your phone and don't need to worry any more about bluetooth range or phone battery.

And I love the amount of Internet Radio presets, have a good list of non-mainstream stations that I listen to, it's great, depends what you're into.

Stuff like PBB, WorldwideFM, FIP (deadly french radio station with eclectic mix), NTS, KEXP, WQXR, Planet Rock, Linn Jazz, Radio Swiss Jazz, Radio Meuh, Funky Ass Tunes, Scratch, BBC 6... and so on!

The 94i is great, I paid £200 for it over the summer but might get another one now that it's reduced, still haven't really delved into all the features but the sound is great.

Internet radio but not Bargain Alert related...

    Implications for Internet radio?

"TuneIn has removed access for UK listeners to the majority of radio stations based outside the country due to licensing reasons.

The move follows a High Court battle against TuneIn from Sony and Warner, who say TuneIn was liable for both direct and authorising infringement in connection to all but the UK-based stations contained in its app"

That only affects users of the tune in app though right?
Most internet radio stations will supply a direct url for you to access their station, so there should be no copyright or geographic restrictions,
You can use Apple Music or VLC for instance to stream from the station URL.
The roberts radio doesn’t rely on Tune In so won’t be affected either

I had a Roberts years ago and then a Pure Evoke, now I use an Amazon Echo Dot. I know you're limited to Tune In but at about one sixth the price, the difference in sound quality is not that great for the casual listener.

You're not limited to Tune In - there are lots of other Radio Skills you can enable.

So +1 for an Echo device too.

Roberts sound quality is fairly noticeable though

Would make sense... Provided you're happy to have a microphone permanently installed in your kitchen ðŸ˜

Why not? I carry a spy with me all the time and I'm typing this on another one. Hard to get away from them :)

Arrived Sunday afternoon, 5 days after buying, grand bit of kit, not having luck setting up the Undok app, doesn't seem to find the radio?

Sorted...... If the device has previously been configured and already connected to a network select Menu > System settings > Network > Clear network settings This will clear any current network settings and the device will automatically enter Device Setup mode.
