All, I have access to a load of fresh cow dung. I started a new veg patch this year but it's a bit stony and lacking organic matter. Would it be a good idea to spread this dung over it now and leave it for the winter?

All, I have access to a load of fresh cow dung. I started a new veg patch this year but it's a bit stony and lacking organic matter. Would it be a good idea to spread this dung over it now and leave it for the winter?

Spread it now and let it break down into the garden
